Asharqia Chamber branch in Al Jubail has recently organized a meeting with the Taiwanese trade delegation was attended by a distinctive number of business men and those interested individuals in the province as the meeting was embraced in the branch headquarters in Jubail.
The head of the Business Council in Jubail Chamber MishariAlAqilithat the delegation composed of 23 has represented a variety of products and services, including specialized companies in the recycling machinery industry, solar systems, wireless communication equipments, plumbing materials and fixtures, kitchen ware and clothes, frozen fish and a group of fashion and accessories.
Aqili explained that the delegation is discussing the partnerships to access the Saudi market from the Investment gate and thinking about the establishment of a mutual business with their counterparts of the province businessmen, pointing to the promising investment opportunities in the province that tempted the investors to study the feasibility of investing in them.
Aqili said that the delegation is looking forward to the establishment of basis for manufacturing and gaining new investment opportunities in various sectors, most prominently trade and industry, pointing that the Taiwanese companies recorded an astonishing presence in the Saudi market and is looking for to enhance its presence through bilateral partnerships. It is worth mentioning that the amount of the bilateral trade, according to local statistics of the Saudi government in 2014, amounts to more than 58.8 billion riyals, Saudi imports from Taiwan reached to more than 7.5 billion riyals, while its exports to Taiwan amounts to about 51.3 billion riyals.
